I learnt another new thing today. California has ‘spare the air’ days....ah ha...I am obviously supposed to breath less today...?
Nope, I am supposed to keep my youngsters inside between 12 and 4pm...when the heat and smog levels will be at an ‘unhealthy level for sensitive groups’.

In the mornings, between feeding/dressing monkeys...
- check the weather-to see how much sunscreen to put on,
- check to see if there were any earthquakes over night and
- I can now add checking the air quality to see if Tom/Ciara can leave the house......yeh right!

Personal licensed plates are called ‘vanity plates’ the ‘YFANNI’ on the Scottish guys down the road made me chuckle, especially because the yanks dont get it. J
